Preview of Facebook 3.0

Verison 3.0 of Facebook for iPhone has been submitted to the App Store for approval. Joe Hewitt, the developer behind the app, provided App Advice (formerly known as AppleiPhoneApps.com), with insight into features along with a copy of the app.

Good news is that it feels “more like the full Facebook” and “the whole interface is cleaner, snappier and more bug-free“. There are still a few sticking points, but check out their first look for details.

Of course, no word on when this will be approved, but one would think that an update to Facebook might be a priority for the App Store approval crew. Wishful thinking?
