Orange Moves 30,000 iPhones On First Day

Even though UK provider Orange only started selling the iPhone today, they’re reporting sales in excess of 30,000 iPhones, according to T3. Given that O2 has already been selling UK iPhones for a couple of years, you would imagine all the truly rabid adopters would already be sated, so 30,000 phones on opening day is truly impressive. There were also concerns that Orange’s very-limited “unlimited” plan might turn away users, but the iPhone seems to be able to push past any negatives, to move significant units. Except in China.
