Microsoft Brings Silverlight Streaming to iPhone

According to Ars Technica, Microsoft have tweaked their Silverlight streaming service, to allow it to get onto the iPhone. They’ve taken their IIS7 server software, and made it compatible with the the HTML5<video> tag, which Safari on the iPhone can read. This means that content providers who use Microsoft Silverlight now have the ability to stream their data to iPhone users, without the need for specific apps.
