iPhone Gathers Steam in Japan, Singapore, Qatar
According to 9to5Mac, the iPhone has some good news in Asia and the Middle East of recent. In Japan, sole iPhone supplier Softbank had more new users than any other provider. They managed to gain an impressive 97,500 new subscribers in October. This is the third consecutive month that Softbank has had more new users than their competition.

In Singapore, the last of the city-state’s three mobile carriers has signed an agreement to start carrying the iPhone. Singaporeans will have the option to buy iPhones from StarHub later this year.

Finally, Vodafone has made a deal to bring the iPhone to Qatar, where they will have a monopoly on the device.
