iPhone Apps Slowly Dropping In Price

Analytics group Distimo have released their most recent monthly results, and it looks like apps are slowly getting cheaper! Over the period from December 1 to February 28, the most popular applications dropped 15% on average, with Australia reaping the most benefits, with a 27% decline.

They also analyzed the spending habits of different regions, and it seems the USA is bit cheapskate, with the most popular applications having an average price of  $2.43, where in Europe they average $3.86. This may be due to the way Apple transfers prices to different categories, but part of this love of the high price is the number of turn-by-turn navigation apps in the European stores, which are very popular and very expensive.
