iPhone 4 Hardware Rumor

China Ontrade, who correctly ID’d iPhone 3GS hardware before the product was announced, have located a piece of hardware they’re claiming comes from the iPhone 4.

500x_iphone_4g_midboard-1If China Ontrade is right again, this is a midboard for the iPhone 4G. A rather unexciting piece of hardware that doesn’t tell us very much, except that something new is in the works. This might account for all the travelling back and forth Apple’s engineers have been doing of late, though we’re still hoping for the Tablet. One other point that Gizmodo so rightly raises, is that this is very soon after the announcement of the 3GS. Does this mean that Apple is sourcing products 8 months in advance of the next announcement? Or is something just around the corner? Maybe China Ontrade is wrong this time.
