Get your credit cards ready, because we hear rumor that pre-orders for the iPad are meant to start Thursday. According to AppAdvice, you’ll be able to mark yourself down for the Wi-Fi version Thursday, February 25. Unfortunately, 3G won’t be available at this point, so we assume the pre-orders for those models will be available 30 days before their launch.

9 to 5 Mac is mooting March 26 as the actual launch day, which makes sense as Apple tends to launch on Fridays. Gives you the weekend to play with it, and figure it out, before busting it out at work on Monday.
