Get your credit cards out folks, because tomorrow morning starts the rush on iPads. TUAW managed to contact an Apple PR representative to get details about pre-orders starting tomorrow. This is what they heard back:

“Customers can pre-order online at apple.com at 5:30am Pacific time on Friday, March 12.”

That’s 5.30am Pacific, 8.30am Eastern. They don’t go on sale at midnight tonight, so no need to stay up late waiting for the lines to open. Just get up at the crack of dawn if you’re on the west coast, or a far more reasonable time if you’re on the east.
