Apple has updated its online stores for all the nations where iPad pre-orders have started, to reflect that the ship date for the tablet will be June 7. Originally the devices were set to ship May 28, so assumedly the earliest pre-orders will get sent out then. It appears Apple may have sold out of the devices they set aside for the international market, hence the pushed back date.

Or, given how popular they are Stateside, they might have diverted some units to American stores, as the iPad can be pretty hard to get your hands on right now. Apple originally pushed back the international launch for just this reason.
