Got a 10 minutes of spare time and some plumbing supplies lying around the place? Why not try and whip together a basic car cradle for your phone of choice. User niftycurly at instructables has put up a tutorial for how to throw together a mount for your iPhone out of some pretty basic supplies, that shouldn’t take too long to make. Unfortunately, it doesn’t link to your cigarette lighter, so it won’t charge your phone, but I’m sure that’d be easy enough add in.

I’ve got to admit, I love the MacGuyver aesthetic of the whole thing. Car mount for my iPhone? What’s in the garage…some pvc piping, a coat-hanger and craft foam. Got it!
