Facebook Update Brings Push Notification, Contacts Syncing

The official Facebook iPhone app has finally been updated to version 3.1, and with it has come two new, and much requested, features.
The first is push notification for messages, wall posts, friend requests, friend confirmations, photo tags, events and comments.
The second is syncing with your Contacts list, where it will grab the contact phone numbers and email address off Facebook, and add their Facebook page as a home page. If you chose too, it will also download their profile pic to your device.
