If you are ever perplexed by the App Store approval process, then news of the approval of “Hottest Girls” in the App Store will leave you scratching your head. We’ve certainly seen a fair share of scantaly clad women in iPhone Apps, but this entry is the first to feature nudity. There was never anything stopping users from using Safari to seek out these sites, but up until now the App Store was free of adult apps. “We uploaded nude topless pics today. This is the first app to have nudity,” said Hottest Girls’ developer Allen Leun. Macinstein aptly notes the developers announcement somehow  “rivals the first transmissions from the moon landing in importance.”

UPDATE:Apple has removed Hottest Girls from the App Store.
