200,000 iPad Pre-Orders After First Week?

Selling like fake mustaches at hipster-con, recent estimates put iPad pre-orders at around 10,000 per day, with 200,000 expected to have been grabbed by the end of 7 days availability. These numbers come from the same source as many of the other estimates for iPad sales, namely Daniel Tello. According to his tracking—which is calculated by counting order numbers and figuring out how many of those can be excluded for non-iPad sales— the pre-orders passed 180,000 on Wednesday, and sometime around mid-day Friday it will pass 200,000

While these numbers don’t count in-store reservations, some estimates put those as high as 150,000 at present, which may bump the overall number of pre-orders to 400,000 by the end of the week.

Anyone want to take a guess as to how many will actually be pre-ordered by the official launch date? 500,000? 750,000? 1 million? More than that? What do you think, and why?
